First Year Tally, Gift and Killing Time OST

It’s the last day of the year. I’m slowly closing up small things I seem to keep postponing and prepping my New Year resolutions. My blog, however, is ready to show its January party colors…

                          

First Year Tally
My blog is one year old and we ought to make an event out of it. I asked several writers to guest blog for the occasion. They all share their own answers to the following question:

“At what point did you begin actively working on becoming an author? Where did you stand about one year after that moment? How much had you accomplished?”

We’ll kick things off with my own writing tally on January 3rd. Throughout the month, you’ll read posts from authors such as Luanne Rice, Faith Hunter, Jasper Fforde and Pierce Anthony, along with fellow Absolute Write Water Cooler authors, soon-to-be published authors and other aspiring writers.
I can’t wait to share it all with you!

                         

A Gift
No celebration would be complete without a gift. First Year Tally is no exception.
On the course of January, commenting gives you, dear reader, a chance to win either a selection of books from our guest authors or a 50$ gift certificate on Amazon.com. I kid you not!

Killing Time OST
My next blog novel will begin its publication on January 4th and run until the end of June. Yay!
Here is the blurb!

Rich heiress by day and assassin by night, Lorelei finds balance and strength in her crazy double life. She deals with crazier stuff on a daily basis, including her nightmares about nanotechnology and its perversion of the world. The only implants she tolerates is the chip playing music in her brain. Armed with a vintage Desert Eagle, assisted by a presumed-dead hacker and fuelled by daredevilry, Lorelei follows the beat to waltz Death up to the overprotected nanotech big heads’ door.

It differs from Unforeseen Dives not only in genre but also in publishing format. It’ll be posted three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and has a looser word count per post (about 1,200 words so it’s still coffee break-sized fiction).
Why such a change?
Because I wanted to take a break between Unforeseen Dives and its sequel but a year seemed way too long. So Killing Time OST will be published over 6 months, and then Cassidy will return!
