Portfolio, Beta and Procrastination

I feel like I’ve been procrastinating for the past few days. I keep getting behind in my comments replies. Editing 25 pages of my NaNo novel is my limit. I hardly get anything new written. I still need to dot the “i” on the First Year Tally project. And I fiddle. A lot.

I spent two hours this morning sifting through WordPress themes and poking my muse. Fiddling, basically. I have to get started on my online portfolio if I want to find a job but I wouldn’t dare clarify this morning as prep work.
I figured since I know my way around WordPress it would be a perfect receptacle for my portfolio. I still believe it will be. Once I decide how to structure the damned thing. *laughs* I guess, in a way, building a portfolio resembles writing a book; you know your content and its all about putting it in a way that’ll draw people in enough to pay for more.
I’ll get there. I. Will. Get. There.
In a few days. 😉

Meanwhile, I need to begin my search for beta readers (I already have two or three but still). I aim at having Oil and Boiling Water ready for a first round of beta by the beginning of January. I’ll try to translate The One Who Sees for February. Tall ordeal if I keep procrastinating.
At least, I still set my alarm clock every weekday morning. Maybe I’m not too far gone.
