Besides being obsessed with creating stuff, I teach interactive storytelling (or how to tell stories in games) and my job, game designer, requires to work with what I call “task-oriented” creativity. It involves strict deadlines, various constraints (technical or otherwise), etc. Thus, I’ve developed a trick or two to get out of a blank page problem, deal with limitations of subject or format, and whatnot. In a nutshell, I’ll give you my tricks to manage creativity as well as create content.

Wow! You teach interactive storytelling and game design?? Really?? 😀 I’ve always been interested in that- do you mean really plot-oriented games, like Fallout or Skyrim, ect?
Ms. Aheila, you might just be my hero. xD

*laughs* I’ll need to update this. I taught storytelling in games, yes. I work as a game designer (for four years now). Unfortunately, I haven’t had the occasion to work on plot-oriented game (though I may start doing something close in a couple of weeks) but yes, the stuff I taught is stuff used in these games.
I’m glad my day job(s) inspire you. 😉
