Hello dear readers,
Some of you may have noticed it when I put this up yesterday evening. Others noticed it this morning. A couple might need their coffee before they realize what I’m talking about.
Yes, your eyes are seeing right; The Writeaholic’s Blog just underwent a visual overhaul. I’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time so I’m all excited to know what you guys think. The new header (which also comes with an official banner and avatar) is derived from the cover art Mélanie Bourgeois did for Unforeseen Dives.
It is not an official cover as in “It’s getting published”. It’s a cover I had made to promote the novel and post the rewrite on Authonomy to try and get a book deal. 😉

Jenn, I don’t know if you remember but I promised to send you a signed print of this. I’ll probably get it done this week.
And don’t you other readers be jealous. Knowing me, I’m likely to find opportunities to give away some of these from time to time. 😉
That’s it for today, folks. More small changes will occur in the coming weeks as I add an Award page and stuff. I might move my blogroll to a page of its own so I can have more people on there without cluttering my sidebar. Anyhoo…

I’m glad you like the new look. Once I narrowed the choices down to the themes that had the features I needed, I argued with myself for a while to find the best one of the three I had left. *sighs* It’s over now. *laughs*

Hey, Aheila, I like the new look. 🙂 Of course, I was only around the old for a few days, but I still prefer this one!
Also, that cover is gorgeous. Now I really want to find the time to go back and read the story (before NaNo? XD I doubt it).
And I’m glad I could see even without the coffee. ^^

Hi! Nice to read you here! I’m glad you appreciate the new visual.
NaNo is sure coming fast. I have a lot of writing to do before then. *laughs* Prepping for NaNo sure is a lot of work.
As for Unforeseen Dives, a chapter takes about 15 minutes to read so you can probably wedge it here and there in your schedule. I’ll be happy to hear your thoughts about it. 😉

You sound totally excited and you should be. I like the new look and the cover is awesome. Assuming that’s Cassidy, she’s the perfect combination of intelligence, attractiveness and nerd. -lol- Now you can start on the next 10,000 views. 😉

I am excited! Every thing is going so fast and great these days. I’ll do a recap of all of it soon.
And yes, it is Cassidy. She’s just perfect. I had a wonderful time working with Mélanie on this.

I’ll have to start submitting stuff to get a book deal, though. *laughs* I’ll start querying The One Who Sees by the end of the first 2011 quarter (hopefully).
