Little Noir Stories: The Case of the Missing Girl

Yesterday, Sarbakan, the company I work for, launched a new game on Big Fish.  As you might have guessed, it is entitled “Little Noir Stories: The Case of the Missing Girl“.
I haven’t work on that game but that doesn’t mean I’m any less proud of it. It is an original idea of my coworkers, which is rare since we mostly develop games for various clients using existing franchises. If this game fares well, we might be able to push more original ideas out there. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Little Noir Stories is a hidden object game. For those of you not familiar with the genre, think along the lines of Where’s Waldo?, add a strong storyline and a few mini-games and you’ll have the general concept.
Like most hidden object games, Little Noir Stories has you investigate. It all begins with a mysterious picture sent to two private investigators. Controlling them in turn, you will search an old building and question its weird inhabitants in an attempt to shed some light on the whole thing.
Unlike most hidden object games, Little Noir Stories doesn’t make you look for random stuff: everything you find is meaningful and pushes you forward in the story. If you play in “novel” mode, you will also get a lot more storytelling and interactive dialogs to find your way through.

Since it is so new on the shelf, there are no reviews at the moment but seriously, noir, PI, amazing graphics, nice voice-acting: there is plenty to lure you in. And since Big Fish offers free one hour trials, you have no good reason to not, at least, give it a try. Now click this link! 😉

For those of you who wonder, I have one of my own games coming out at the end of May and another one probably in end of June/early July.  Stay tuned to learn more!

Whoot! Sounds fun, I’ll give it a try. Oh, it says sign in and sounds like it’s not free?

If you click on the big “Try It” blue button, you will have a free one hour trial. It’s a downloadable game so you will have to install it in order to play and it will automatically stop after an hour. 😉
