Awkward – A Drabble

The halved, uneasy chuckle warned me. Opening my eyes to see through blond bangs only confirmed something had gone wrong.
“Honey,” I said, doing my best not to be startled by my new feminine tone, “mind explaining what happened?”
“Hmmm…” Same vocal chords, different consciousness.
“Let’s try these: where’s my body and how do I get back in it?”
“Witch doctor?”
“Great. Can’t wait to explain how this happened.” I meant to shake my head but the body I unwillingly shared took a step forward instead. “Oh no, darling! You wanted me to walk in your shoes. Well, I’m driving!”

This is a drabble for this prompt.
