Roar – A Drabble

“The roar would have scared a whole block. It was so loud. But it didn’t scare Michael. Noooo… He thought he knew what he was doing.”
“Hey! You make it sound as if it was my first safari!”
“Well…”
“Can you two stop bickering and tell the damned story!”
“As I was saying, Michael stood there. Face to face with the lion.”
“That is not true!”
“Oh right! Sorry! He roared back!”
“You gotta be kidding!”
“It worked! It fell flat on its side. Stunned by surprise.”
“Surprise also known as tranquilizer dart. Which I fired.”
“That’s when I proposed.”

This story was written based on this prompt.
