Drabble Day – Change

Apparently, some people were scared Drabble Days were over. Well, they’re not! However, due to my new serial posting schedule, Drabble Days are switching time slots. They’ll be on Saturday for this month but they might change back to a week day in February if I think it’s better.
The main thing you should remember is that as far as I’m concerned, Drabble Days are here to stay.

Here is how the drabble challenge works!

  • Read the prompt and find your angle.
  • Write a drabble (100 words story, give or take five words).
  • Post a direct link to your drabble in the comments (or, if you don’t have a blog, just go ahead and post your drabble in the comments).

Because it’s appropriate, today’s drabble prompt is : Change!

I fumbled with the first button of my blouse, losing precious seconds I knew I didn’t have. As soon as I reached the fourth one, the clothing loosened enough to allow me to pull it over my head. My pants were already being dragged off my legs.
I took a couple of deep breaths to calm my heartbeat while I kicked off my stiletto heels. Sweat pearled on my naked skin. I shivered, my ears entranced by the brush of fabric, almost unnoticeable under the loud music.
“Naomi’s on the runway in forty seconds!”
My dresser brought my next outfit.
