We have to talk…

Hello everybody,

Yes, I know, starting any conversation with “We have to talk” is setting yourself between a rock and a hard place. That being said, I feel like we do have to talk for me to be happy… so I guess I am between a rock and a hard place. Don’t be scared, let me explain.

When I started this blog, I thought I would just put in the posts about my story. This way the order of the posts would be clean, personal stuff would not distract from my work and blah, blah, blah. I basically wanted to avoid clutter. But now, we are three weeks in and I am going crazy.

The social animal in me wants to turn into a chatterbox (which is a really weird image if you take it literally). The fact is that I know I’ve got a few readers; WordPress tracks stats for me. But who are the readers is out of my reach. Are you just my close friends whom I brainwashed with that blog project? Are you strangers who read one of my comments on Kim Harrison’s blog and decided to take a peek?
With all these questions in my head, I am forced to realize that I feel damn cold being all “professional writer” and damn cheap for posting only once a week. So I decided to give in to my craving for blabber.

Basically, this means I am going to share a little more of me in the hope of hearing a little more of you! In about three minutes, I’ll create a new page entitled “2010 story’ and update it every week with the links of my story posts. This way, both of mes are satisfied: there will be an easily accessible way to read my project and I am free to chat you up!
Because putting yourself out there with a blog is all about forging new relationships while doing something that matters to you. 😉

Phew! That wasn’t so bad now, was it?
